Dr. Benjarong holds bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from University of San Francisco. He received master’s degree and Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University, USA.
Currently he serves as Deputy Minister of Finance.
He has extensive experience in both private and public banking. Prior to his current position, he was Senior Executive Vice President, Export-Import Bank of Thailand. Moreover, he served as Lecturer at Faculty of Economics of Thammasat University and University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Also, he has cohesion regarding economic with many boards of both private and public organizations.
