Chutchan obtained a bachelor’s degree in international economics from Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University and obtained a master’s degree in finance from Fudan International School of Finance, People’s Republic of China
Currently, he serves as Economist at Monetary Policy Strategy Team, Monetary Policy Department, Bank of Thailand.
