Jirawat Panpeimras is a research fellow at Thailand Development Research Institute. He received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA. He has extensive experience in conducting and managing research projects in areas such as international trade and investment, protection of intellectual property rights (in free trade agreements), and health insurance coverage. His current research interests are evaluating impacts of health policies, monitoring impacts of the change in demographic structure in Thailand, and designing policies to cope with the demographic change. His works appear in Health Policy and Thammasat Economic Journal.
