Dr. Kanit Sangsubhan is now chairman of Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) advisory board after he served as secretary-general of the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand from 2018 until August 2022.
He is also a member of Monetary Policy Committee and appointed as council member of the new National Economic and Social Development Council from 2017.
He also has high experience in various fields, for example, as director of the overall planning division at the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB), member of board of TISCO Bank Ltd., director of Dhanarak Asset Development Board, member of advisory board of Asian Development Bank Institute, board of director of Bank of Thailand, and chairman of the executive committee at Thai Airways (2009-2017).
