Kanokwan Chancharoenchai obtained her Ph.D. in Economics at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, USA, and B.A. in Economics (International Trade) at Bangkok University.
Currently, she serves as Associate Professor at Department of Economics, Kasetsart University and Honorary Advisor to the Senate Committee on Education, Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (Thailand Senate). She also participated in evidence-based policy research for several government agencies on trade, economic policy, supply chain, services, and social issues. Additionally, she received research awards from Kasetsart University, such as awards for international journal publications and for outstanding research in the social sciences category.
She has academic publications in domestic and international journals, covering financial economics, consumer behavior, trade liberalization, and social issues. Selected publications include Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, International Journal of Public.
