Lusi Liao is currently a research fellow at Institute of Strategy Research for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, China. Her research interest is in the field of labor economics.

She receives a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Thailand. She also holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Dickinson State University, North Dakota, U.S., a Bachelor degree in English from Sichuan International Studies University, China, and a Master degree of Science in Finance from Clark University, Massachusetts, U.S.
