Graduating with a Bachelor degree in Economics (First-class honours) from Thammasat University, Dr. Nat Tharnpanich, with Royal Thai Government Scholarship, obtained a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA and his Ph.D. in Land Economy from University of Cambridge, UK.
Before joining the Ministry of Commerce, he served as a consultant at the Development Research Group of the World Bank Group in Washington DC. His publication includes an article in Journal of Post Keynesian Economics and a book chapter in An Introduction to Macroeconomics: An Heterodox Approach to Economic Analysis. He also has frequently given lectures at several leading universities.
Currently, he serves as Trade officer (Professional level) Division of Industrial and Service Trade Policy and Strategy, Trade Policy and Strategy Office, Ministry of Commerce.
