
Panit Wattanakoon is currently a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. He received his bachelor’s degrees in economics and laws from Thammasat University, and a PhD in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA.
His research field of interest includes law and economics, banking, and applied macroeconomic theory with the emphasis on how financial frictions and banking market structures affect the real economy.
