Pantisa Pavabutr is currently Associate Professor of Finance at Thammasat Business School. Prior to her current position, she has been Senior Researcher Fellow at University of New South Wales, Sydney. She also was Visiting Research Fellow at Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), Tokyo and Visiting Professor at ESCP Business School, Paris. Since joining Thammasat Business School, she has won research support from TJ Posco Foundation and Thailand Research Fund. She has received research awards from the Thai Securities Exchange Commission and CFA Society, Hong Kong.
She completed her BA in Finance from Thammasat University (First Class Honors) and MA in International Business from George Washington University and PhD in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin (David Bruton Junior Fellowship’s scholarship)
Her research interests are in empirical asset pricing and market microstructure.
