Worarit Vannavanit holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Second Class Honors) from Chulalongkorn University. He is awarded full scholarships from the Bank of Thailand to pursue two master's degrees: a Master of Science in Finance (English Program) at Chulalongkorn University and a Master of Science in Business Analytics at the University of California San Diego, USA. He receives a full scholarship from the Japanese Government to obtain a Ph.D. in International Development Studies at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan.
Worarit has extensive professional experience at the Bank of Thailand, having served in Modeling Supervision and Risk Assessment Department, Banking Supervision Department, and Regulatory Policy Department. Prior to that, he worked in audit and assurance at PwC. He is also an adjunct professor at Faculty of Business Administration, Kasetsart University.
He currently serves as Principal Researcher at Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research.
