Dr. Pongsak is currently an Associate Professor and Lecturer at Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University. His research interest covers monetary policy, Macro-prudential policy, economic bubble in asset prices, financial crisis, Thai economic history, uncertainty of economic. He has publications in world-class academic journals such as Economic Journal, National Institute Economic Review, and Journal of Population Economics.
Prior to his current position, he has worked at World Bank, Washington, D.C. and worked as assistant researcher at ESRC Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation
He has graduated his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Warwick and his B.Sc. in Economics from Chulalongkorn University.
