He is currently a Lecturer at Department of Economics, Khon Kaen University. His research interests are in the area of Machine Learning in Economics, Economics of Climate Change, Urbanization, Environmental Valuations.
Sarun obtained his B.Eng. (Mechanical Engineering) from Kasetsart University, M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from National Institute of Development Administration. He has received National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) Award 2017 for the Best PhD Thesis.
