Thanapoom holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with First-Class Honours from Thammasat University. He gained experience in Data Analytics in the private sector and co-authored a research paper published at an international conference organized by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
He is currently a Senior Economist at the Monetary Policy Group, Bank of Thailand, where he is responsible for monitoring and analyzing financial conditions. He also serves as a member of the Secretariat to the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), contributing to the preparation of policy recommendations for the Committee's deliberations.
