Youthapoom Charusreni holds his Master of Science in Economics (with Distinction) at University of Exeter and Doctor of Philosophy in Economics at Durham University, United Kingdom.
Currently, Youthapoom Charusreni serves as Director of Macroeconomic Modeling and Forecasting Division, Fiscal Policy Office, Ministry of Finance. He has expertises in Macroeconomic Model and Dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models. His works cover publishing quarterly Thailand economic outlook for the Ministry of Finance and Assessing the impact of fiscal policies on the Thai economy, such as the 2012 Thai Khem Khaeng Action Plan, the “Khon La Khrueng" co-payment subsidy scheme, “Shop Dee Mee Khuen" project (Shop and refund program)
