Currently, Boontida serves as Assistant Director in the Regional Economic and Financial Strategy Department at the Bank of Thailand. Prior to this role, she was a Senior Researcher at the Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research (PIER).
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Economics from Chulalongkorn University.
Her research interests span public, development, and behavioral economics. With extensive experience utilizing administrative data, field surveys, and field experiments, her work focuses on understanding rural household finance, its interaction with public policies, and developing sustainable debt resolution strategies for Thai farmers.
