Chantawit completed his bachelor degree in Mathematics and Economics from London School of Economics and Political Science in 2012. He did his master degree in Economics at Columbia University, graduating in 2017.
Before joining PIER, Chantawit worked as a Monetary Policy Strategist, in charge of proposing monetary policy recommendation and analyzing financial and economic conditions. He also served as a Personal Assistant to the Governor of the Bank of Thailand.
His research interest lies in central banks’ communication policy, decision-making process and institutional roles.
