Sasatra Sudsawasd is the Associate Professor of Economics at School of Development Economics, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), where he began his academic career in 2003. Sudsawasd received his bachelor degree of Engineering at Thammasat University, Thailand, and master degree of Economics at University of Missouri, USA. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics at Georgia Stata University, USA, in 2002 .

Sudsawasd’s research interests include international economics, public economics, and public finance. Many of his works are on the subjects such as economic integration, trade policy, investment policy, and taxation. He has been published in several academic journals, such as Review of International Economics, International Trade Journal, and Journal of Asian Economics.
