Jettawat is a Senior Researcher at the Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research (PIER), with research interests in International Economics and Monetary Economics — particularly the effects of exchange rates on the economy, as well as the impact of global policy shocks on exporters.
Prior to his current position, Jettawat gained experience at the Monetary Policy Department, Bank of Thailand, where he served as a Senior Economist in the Model Development & Technical Research Unit and the Monetary Policy Strategy Office. He also served on the secretariat team of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), where his responsibilities included preparing policy recommendations for the Committee.
Jettawat holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (First Class Honours) from Thammasat University.
