Currently Pucktada serves as Director of Payment Systems and Financial Technology Policy (FinTech) Department, Bank of Thailand.
Previously, he acted as the Section Head of the Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research, and the Deputy Director of Data Analytics in the Data Management and Data Analytics Department, Bank of Thailand. Prior to joining Bank of Thailand, he worked on Thailand's Innovation Policy at the Ministry of Science and Technology, where also worked as the personal assistant to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Pucktada holds a BS, triple majors in Computer Science, Economics and Discrete Mathematics (Carnegie Mellon University), MS in Language Technology (Carnegie Mellon University), MS in Computer Science (Stanford University) and PhD in Information Science (Pennsylvania State University). His research interest includes Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Graph-based Analytics.
